What Are Valves?
Per ASME B16.34 and API 600/602, industrial valves control the flow, pressure, and direction of fluids in piping systems. They perform three functions: isolation (on/off), throttling (flow regulation), and non-return (backflow prevention). Bodies are cast (API 600, 2" and above) or forged (API 602, up to 4"). Pressure classes span 150# to 2500# per ASME B16.34. We supply gate, globe, ball, check, and butterfly valves for industrial and oil & gas service.

What is the difference between gate and globe valves?
Gate valves provide full-bore isolation with minimal pressure drop when fully open - they are either fully open or fully closed and should not be used for throttling. Globe valves have a disc-and-seat design that allows precise flow regulation and throttling. Use gate valves for on/off isolation and globe valves when you need to control flow rate.
What pressure classes are available?
Industrial valves are available in ASME B16.34 pressure classes: 150#, 300#, 600#, 900#, 1500#, and 2500#. The required class is determined by the system design pressure and temperature. 150# covers most utility and water applications, while 600# and above are common in refinery and high-pressure oil & gas service.
Do you supply actuated valves?
Yes, we supply valves with pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators for remote or automated operation.
